Sahara States is a gift to the people of Gorakhpur by our visionary Sahara Shree, Mr. Roy! We are thankful and grateful to him. The upkeep of the Sahara States, however is in shambles. Poor management of residents, roads and cleanliness of the common areas. Garbage is dumped in open area and the roads have uncountable potholes. One would expect much more from the Sahara India Pariwar. The main gate and part of the entrance road was demolished recently by the city administration. It's been almost a year and the debris is lying around like a major disaster descended upon Sahara States. The greenery and the open space all around is commendable. A lot more can be done here, provided the management takes some strict, visible and sustainable steps. A thankful and concerned resident of Sahara States, Gorakhpur.
